Shaun White, Torah Bright and Jossi Wells take the 2008 World Superpipe Championships!!!

Defending champions Shaun White and Torah Bright were the winners at the superpipe again this year. New Zealand Phenom Jossi Wells took home the big check on the skiers side. Check the worldsuperpipe.com site for all the details.
Nitro Circus comes to Brighton for some big air!!!
The Nitro Circus was in town last week filming for an upcoming video. We caught up with the riders and crew, and got some great vid of the building of the kickers they were hucking. Travis Pastrana and the rest of the crew slammed down on the kickers with there snow bikes to see who could do the sickest air. Video and details to follow.
Arkade Mag Slopestyle goes down at Brighton Utah
We got some great stuff at the Arkade Mag slopestyle comp. over the weekend. The conditions were less than perfect, with winds in the 40 mph range but that did'nt stop the riders from Killing the kickers and rails.

January 22, 2008: Billy Poole, a 28 year old professional extreme skier, died Tuesday while filming in Big Cottonwood Canyon near Salt Lake City, Utah.
Poole was skiing between Brighton and Solitude ski resorts on Tuesday afternoon when he hit rock on a bad landing while filming for Warren Miller. He died at University Hospital.
His family says he died doing what he loved.
His life's goal was to ski in a Warren Miller film. He lived his dream for a week before he became the first person to die on camera in the history of Warren Miller's film making. Miller plans on honoring Poole in the upcoming film.
